The Basel Chamber Orchestra is one of the leading chamber orchestras in international musical life and regularly performs at the most important festivals and in the most important concert halls. In collaboration with selected soloists, including Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Franco Fagioli, and Isabelle Faust and under the baton of selected conductors, the chamber orchestra presents baroque, classical and contemporary works in around 60 performances per year. The »Haydn 2032« project started in 2014 under the artistic direction of conductor Giovanni Antonini, in which all 107 of Haydn's symphonies will be recorded and performed by 2032.
