Minguet Quartet

String quartet

The Minguet Quartet chose Pablo Minguet as its namesake and dedicated itself to his vision of giving the general public access to the fine arts. This mission is promising: the quartet is now one of the most sought-after string quartets internationally and has already performed in concert halls all over the world, such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Lincoln Centre in New York, and, most recently, at the Salzburg Festival. Awarded the ECHO and OPUS KLASSIK prizes, the Minguet Quartet has made a name for itself in classical-romantic and modern music. It is involved in numerous world premières of 21st-century compositions. Its current partners include clarinettist Matthias Schorn, violinist Franziska Hölscher, and cellist Jens Peter Maintz. They will perform a chamber concert with the latter in Ludwigsburg in 2024. Other highlights of the same season include concerts at the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival and the Salzburg Festival.
