The dancer and dance teacher Janna Kleinknecht trained in Hamburg and Munich has worked at the Philharmonie Luxembourg, the Opera Stabile, the Schauspielhaus Hamburg and the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation. After completing her master's degree in Cultural Sciences with a final thesis about dance

at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg and the Humboldt University of Berlin, she was engaged as a movement teacher for a theatre production at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz and assisted in editing at theatre publishing house henschel SCHAUSPIEL. Janna was a cultural manager for the dance company Sasha Waltz & Guests and the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland. She also produced the record release show »Garden Gaia« at Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin with musician Pantha du Prince and founded the Yoga & Art Festival at Schlossgut Schwante in 2021. With her interdisciplinary sense for the arts, Janna has already been a freelance project manager for two years at Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele. This year she will be teaching workshops for Sasha Waltz’s dance project »In C«.
