The final festival week!

Breathtaking fireworks accompanied by live music at Seeschloss Monrepos and a night-time walk through the Salonwald forest

This week we are ending our 2024 festival season with a big fireworks display: the open air at Seeschloss Monrepos is coming up! In a summery, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful setting, we will experience refined rhythms, captivating highlights and soulful moments of tranquillity, which will ultimately culminate in a breathtaking fireworks display. So that it’s not so hard to say goodbye, this year we have a festival pilogue in which students from the Film Academy and ADK invite you to take a nocturnal walk in the Salonwald – let us surprise you!

Monrepos Open Air

The grand finale of the 2024 festival season is imminent: on Saturday, July 20, we will end the official festival season with a bang(er): conductor Alondra de la Parra and the festival orchestra combine spirited fervor and life-affirming lightness with melancholy melodies from the »old continent« of Europe. The concentrated musical energy finally discharges in an impressive firework display set off live to the music.

The last »Frei Luft Musik«

On Friday, Frei Luft Musik will take place for the last time this season! This week, the Sonus Quintett, consisting of clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone, oboe and bassoon, will perform on the market square at 6 pm, just in time for the end of the day.

Nocturnal walk through the salon forest

It’s hard to say goodbye, which is why we invite you to our festival pilgrimage this year! During a staged night walk through the Salonwald forest there is a lot to discover – let us surprise you!

The 60-minute staged walk starts at 9:30 pm on the corner of Königsallee/Königinallee at the »Grüne Bettlade«.
