James Way is a former Britten Pears Young Artist and formed part of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment's Rising Stars programme for young artists. The tenor is a Les Arts Florissants Jardin des Voix laureate, has been awarded an Independent Opera Voice Fellowship and was recently selected for Barbara Hannigan's Equilibrium Young Artists Programme. Thanks to his enthusiasm for Baroque music, James Way has already performed with popular early music ensembles throughout Europe. In 2022, the singer will perform »Dido and Aeneas« in Berlin and Ludwigsburg with Sasha Waltz, the Vocalconsort Berlin and the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin under Christopher Moulds.
