Konstantin Dupelius is a studied (jazz) pianist and music teacher with a diverse profile. For the Salzburg Festival 2020, he composed the music for the opera »1000 Kraniche« together with the violinist and composer Gustavo Strauss. In summer 2020, he composed and performed »WTF 1770 - Hölderlin // Beethoven« with his Duo OMG Schubert at the Institut für theatrale Zukunftsforschung Zimmertheater Tübingen. 2018/19, he was artistic director and composer of the documentary performance »UNCONSCIOUS COLLECTIONS. What about Bosnia?«, dealing with the aftermath of the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina, which was shown at Performing Arts Festival Berlin, PODIUM Festival Esslingen and toured through Bosnia Herzegovina in cooperation with Festival MESS Sarajevo. He regularly works with other ensembles and musicians, e.g. with the ensemble recherche, Kai Schumacher, Benedikt ter Braak or the National Youth Ballet.
