Ayanna Witter-Johnson is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, pianist and cellist successfully crossing the boundaries of classical, jazz reggae and R&B.  After graduating, Ayanna participated in the London Symphony Orchestra's Panufnik Young Composers Scheme and was an Emerging Artist in Residence at London's Southbank Centre.  A British composer of Jamaican heritage, Ayanna has been commissioned by the London Symphony Orchestra, Ligeti Quartet, Kronos Quartet and The Hip-Hop Shakespeare Company, amongst others and is now turning her hand to writing for theatre and TV. With her debut album under her belt, MOBO nominated Ayanna has kept busy with live performances, headlining at London’s iconic Jazz Cafe and Kings Place, alongside performing as a guest with Andrea Bocelli on his 2021/22 tours.
