The Ludwigsburg Festival celebrates 300 years of Johann Sebastian Bach’s »Johannespassion« with a unique format for tenor, percussion, organ and harpsichord. Led and conducted by tenor Benedikt Kristijánsson on 28. June 2024, the audience will have the rare opportunity to sing along to the chorales of the Passion, just as it was done in the old days. The singer alone performs the remaining arias and recitatives of Elina Albach’s arrangement of the Good Friday music.
Prepare to be immersed in a Passion story that creates a special intimacy and closeness to the audience and ranges from percussive drama to soft tones of tenderness and gratitude.
Listen in and increase your anticipation at Easter for this extraordinary version of the »Johannespassion«!
