[This text has been translated electronically] In the current crisis, the value of walks has been re been recognized. Yet in the past, walking was taken for granted, to find inner peace. Artists, in particular, have sought for valuable inspiration. With #explore_mozart, the STEGREIF.orchester dedicates itself to one of these artists: In the digital 360° audiowalk the diversity of the surroundings will be explored on individually definable walking routes. The ensemble deals with Mozart both musically and politically. His five masonic ideals – liberty, equality, brotherhood, tolerance and humanity – are reflected today in the 17 sustainability goals. But this is not the only link to the Ludwigsburg festival: With the clarinet quintet in A major to be heard, Wilhelm Krämer also laid the foundation stone of the festival in the 1930s. You are cordially invited to get to know your personal favourite track with Mozart anew!

Below you will find a Soundcloud playlist with all pieces that will accompany you on your Audiowalk. You can walk your favourite route or be inspired by the recommendations of regional personalities. We have put together a selection for you here. The rest of the recommendations by Birgit Strobel, Manuela Heß and some of our citizen of the world can be found directly in our collection »360° Hörspaziergang #explore_mozart« on Komoot. Both Soundcloud and Komoot can also be used as an app on your smartphone. Whatever you decide to do: Put on sturdy shoes, put on your headphones, and let the STEGREIF.orchester accompany you on a special walk. Have fun!

Dr. Matthias Knecht (Lord Mayor of the City of Ludwigsburg and Chairman of the Supervisory Board): »The starting point is Mundelsheim. From the Lange Weinbergweg we start into the vineyards on the Käsberg. It is the most famous Trollinger vineyard in the region. Via the Königshäusle we walk towards Hessigheim. A great vantage point is the steep Käsbergkanzel above us. It is easy to climb, there is a path leading up to it. Then we walk across the fields in the direction of Ottmarsheimer Straße and continue via Hessigheim to the Felsengartenkellerei - and then back again via the vineyards. I like this route because of the wonderful view of the Neckar loop, surrounded by vineyards. Especially in autumn, when the autumn leaves are glowing, and with one or two good places to stop in Mundelsheim or Hessigheim, this is a great route. I've often used it in whole or in part to recharge my batteries, reflect or simply unwind, and of course I like to walk it with my wife or family.«

Jolanta Gatzanis (Staff Office Economic Development Coordination Innovation Work, author, publisher, citizen of the world): »It is one of my favorite routes because of the location of the small town of Marbach (vineyards and orchards) and its half-timbered houses is extremely picturesque and makes me and makes me forget everyday life. In the birthplace of the freedom poet Friedrich Schiller, you can take a walk and feel how Schiller must have lived Schiller lived more than 200 years ago. One of his most famous Friedrich Schiller’s »Ode to Joy«, which Beethoven later set to music in the fourth movement of his in the fourth movement of the 9th symphony, reminds me that living and working together can only succeed if we allow and respect each other’s freedom of thought. freedom of our thoughts: »All men become brothers where Brothers, where thy gentle wing dwells.«

Elmar Kunz (Tourism Manager Ludwigsburg, Deputy Management): »The Felsenrunde rewards me with incredibly spectacular views over the steep slopes along the Neckar River in Ludwigsburg. Here I can be completely in harmony with nature, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Along the route, I keep discovering fascinating gems.«
