The Ludwigsburg Festival – International Festival Baden-Württemberg is one of the oldest and most renowned music festivals in Germany and will soon be celebrating its 100th anniversary. We develop innovative concert formats, programs and productions specially for the festival in music, dance, performance and literature and create connections between the arts.
As a festival rich in tradition, we would like to take a model position in the present to work together with all those who wish to actively shape an open and sustainable society.
With innovative formats and outstanding artists, Ludwigsburg becomes a festival city annually. Both in the Ludwigsburg Palace, our founding venue, or in the theatre hall of the Forum am Schlosspark, as well as in the middle of Ludwigsburg’s market square - we fill the city with music!
At the heart of the program is the unifying, universal language that all individuals understand and that reaches the diversity of society. From large orchestral concerts, chamber music and solo evenings to dance and performances to formats that transcend all boundaries, every year, we create a program that is a diverse »celebration of the arts, democracy and sustainability«.
