The tenor Julian Habermann was a member of the Regensburger Domspatzen and a young student at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg with Christian Elsner. From 2013-2017 he studied singing in Frankfurt with Hedwig Fassbender and Thilo Dahlmann. He has received many awards, including the Rosenbaum Foundation Prize at the National Singing Competition Berlin in 2018 and the Luitpold Prize of the Kissinger Sommer in 2019. He has also been a multiple participant of the Kissinger Liederwerkstatt and a scholarship holder of the Lied Academy of the Heidelberger Frühling International Music Festival. Since the 2019/20 season, he has been an ensemble member of the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, appearing, among other roles, as the Steersman in Richard Wagner's »The Flying Dutchman«, Pedrillo in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's »The Abduction from the Seraglio« or as the Evangelist in Johann Sebastian Bach's »St Matthew Passion«.
